At the end of 2009, the collaboration between Merlino and Telematic Solutions Spa infomobility projects has led to a major merge.
From 1 January 2010 Merlino's ownership has acquired the infomobility business unit of Telematic Solutions Spa, including agreements and staff personell.
The importance of the Telematics Solution trade mark in the infomobility business led the managerial direction to change the company name in Telematic Solutions Advanced Technologies Spa, although the brand Merlino Technology is still used in the areas of engineering and aerospace applications.
With the acquisition of this business branch, TSAT becomes the major player in the italian infomobility business.
