"(...)Gavazzi Aerospace, Marotta Advanced Technologies, Merlino Servizi,
Sab Aerospace and Techno System Developments, have joined to create the
Antares Consortium, aiming at developing and producing in San Giorgio
del Sannio (Benevento), satellites for TLC. Planned investment is about
15 million euros,
7 of them allocated by the Province of Benevento, thanks to its
President Carmine Nardone, who is transforming
a region usually known for its wine and "torrone", in a "valley devoted
to technology".
In San Giorgio del Sannio was developed and implemented the satellite
Agile, the first satellite fully made in Italy(...)."
